I have been practicing as a therapist since 2012. I graduated with my masters in counseling psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute in 2014. My published thesis, The Crisis of Symbolism in Contemporary America, discusses how advertising has confused the innate human capacity to use art and symbols to heal. This thesis is a pivotal work for me, as it helps me make sense of the desire and need for us as humans to make art to help us with meaning and understanding.
I studied at the Jung Institute Los Angeles, where I further increased my knowledge of art and symbolism. I served as a professor’s assistant for 5 years as well as taught Early Childhood Development for 2 years at Pacifica Graduate Institute.
I have been a therapist for over 12 years, some of which include: in-patient treatment at Beit T’Shuvah, a soul-based inpatient rehabilitation center in Culver City where I practiced using a Jungian modality; Early Childhood Development Association, where I increased my knowledge of child development and symbolic play; Home-care and training with Spectrum Disorders; Los Angeles pre-schools where I have been a play interventionist; as well as currently working in a private practice setting in Santa Monica.
Jung has a quote, "Real consciousness has to be based on life experienced--- just talking about things is not enough." I work with clients on how to actually let the work we do live through them in their lives. Expect humor and expect to be pushed.
I do hike therapy in the Santa Monica mountains as well as virtual therapy.

I feel deeply honored to explore the inner worlds of individuals as a career. I practice with curiosity and compassion, and invite the stories of our ancestors into the healing container. I believe in holding many truths, normalizing reactivity to abnormal circumstances, and that humor deserves a place in therapy. I offer my authentic nature to clients and uninterrupted presence. I am a firm believer that a strong and meaningful therapeutic relationship is a major source of the healing function of therapy.
I graduated with my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute with an emphasis in depth psychology. I am currently completing my Ecopsychology Advanced Certification and concurrently practice nature-based therapy with youth at a Southern California-based wolf sanctuary. My clinical experience has included work with adolescents and young adults with differing abilities, at-promise youth, and adult individuals seeking to understand and integrate their unique and personal journeys.
I offer walk and talk and hike and talk therapy in Los Angeles and virtual telehealth.
